TMD Youth Summit 2026 (The Recent Edition)
The African Legacy Summit 2025, the fourth edition of the TMD Youth Summit, brought together students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across Africa for two transformative days of learning, collaboration, and leadership development. Hosted by the Tourism and Hospitality Mentorship for Development (TMD) Foundation in partnership with Eko Hotels & Suites as it celebrated its 50th anniversary, the summit was centred on the theme "Building Legacies that Transcend Generations, Institutions, and Industries." Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, mentorship, leadership masterclasses, networking, and innovation conversations, participants gained practical insights from distinguished experts while exploring leadership, entrepreneurship, tourism development, and Africa's evolving economic landscape. Formerly known as the Hospitality and Business Summit (HBS), the African Legacy Summit has grown into one of Africa's leading youth development platforms. Today, the TMD Foundation connects over 5,000 students and young professionals across more than 30 tertiary institutions, bridging the gap between academia and industry through mentorship, leadership development, internships, and strategic partnerships. More than an annual event, the African Legacy Summit is a movement dedicated to empowering young Africans to lead with purpose, drive innovation, and build legacies that create lasting impact across generations, institutions, and industries.
